Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This policy explains how QuickConvertPDF handles information when you use its PDF, document, image, and OCR tools.

1. Conversion files

Uploads are used to perform the task you request. The current conversion code handles files in memory or in request-scoped temporary storage. Conversion uploads and generated files are deleted when processing completes; they are not placed in a user file library.

Do not upload files that you are not authorized to process. Avoid highly sensitive files whenever an online service is not appropriate for your needs.

2. Technical and analytics data

The service may process technical data needed to operate and protect the site, such as an IP address for rate limiting and request information in server logs. The site also loads Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which may collect usage data under Google's terms and your browser or consent settings.

3. How information is used

4. Security

The production website uses HTTPS/TLS to encrypt data while it travels between your browser and the site. This is transport encryption, not end-to-end encryption. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

5. Service providers and disclosure

Office conversion uses software running with the application rather than a third-party conversion API. Hosting, analytics, and other infrastructure providers may process limited data as needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or when necessary to protect the service and its users.

6. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy by publishing a revised version and changing the date above. Questions can be sent to quickconvertpdf@gmail.com.
